I worked with a partner and raised over $8000 for a first-time event, convincing people to support a free event for a bleeding-edge technology, and learned so much about the true long tail (grass roots) that I can probably build a business out of my learnings.
I’ve got 4 excellent podcasts being run by the brightest and most passionate people I’ve met this year, and I’m proud to know everyone involved.
My family’s loving and supportive and I’m proud of my wife and two kids for understanding that I’m crazy in the best of ways.
