New tools for tourism businesses

Tourism businesses have an array of new tools. Today, I’m talking about those tools at the annual tourism conference of the Red Carpet Country tourism association.

When another speaker canceled at the last minute, Jeanne “OkieJ” Cole asked me to fill in. I put together these ideas to share.

Here are the links from the slides:

  1. I am so glad the other speaker canceled. I, for one, plan to dig-in to the tips and tools you suggested!

  2. I’ve been praising your many virtues today. Let’s see… my husband, the guy at the radio station, Woods County Economic Development, OK Dept of Commerce, the ag guy at Northwest Technology Center…
Let’s face it – free and effective marketing is something to talk about.

  3. Hi Becky – thank you for the link!! :) There are so many (too many?) resources out there for small biz folks involved in tourism. The power of marketing our small properties/ventures really is in our hands…with Flickr, YouTube, etc all you need is some time and a willingness to be consistent.
